The whole staff is wonderful. I would consider them all geniuses. If you need any pet/fish advice go to them!!! Best pet store ever! And they’re local… caching! I love it here

The employees at this store are very educated about their pets. It was a so great to finally have someone help my son Hunter with his fish 🐠🐟 and give him the correct information he needed for a beautiful healthy tank. We will always come here for our pet needs 💯

This is the best fish store in the area in my opinion. Most knowledgeable staff in the louisville metro area who are always available to answer questions. Have a reasonable policy of returns. Reasonable selection of fish (although I do genuinely wish that their selection becomes even wider but this is not a problem with the store itself). Aquatic plant selection is always good quality (however in my opinion they have to stock more plants and more variety of plants more often, but again not the problem of the fish store itself).In summary, in my opinion, best fish store in the area overall. I do genuinely wish they expand the number of tanks, species of fish carried and species of aquatic plants carried soon in the near future.

Sandy's is our favorite pet shop in Louisville. We've bought numerous fish, shrimp, aquatic plants, and other aquarium products. The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful. We were particularly thankful to have help from Jewel when we were new to Sandy's. She explained the 14-day guarantee to us and pointed us to other staff members who knew the most about the plants and fish we wanted to purchase. My husband and I will definitely continue using Sandy's in the future.

This was our first visit. The selection, staff expertise, and overall atmosphere were exceptional. A big box store will never be able to compete with the knowledgeable service and peace of mind that you are shopping with someone who truly cares about their animals. This is our new primary spot for all pet supplies that they offer. Definitely worth the trip across town.
